The Return of Evil

Filed under: All Posts — brogsblog @ 2:32 pm

He’s back. Yesterday, Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in New York. For the next few days, there will be no avoiding his oily voice as he gives interviews on our airwaves and a speech before the United Nations. Once again, we’ll be subject to his torrent of lies, conspiracy theories and downright lunacy.

But don’t let the insanity fool you. This man knows what he wants, and he is ruthlessly pursuing it. Caught red handed in a series of crimes, he weaves impossible tales to divert our attention and avoid answering unpleasant questions. He talks about “planning to talk” about his nuclear program — as if such talks haven’t already been underway for years. As he speaks, we need to keep our eyes on his hands. His deeds betray him.

This year, Christians United for Israel will be playing a leading role in calling attention to Ahmadinejad’s evil deeds. His crimes – against his own people as well as Israel and the United States – are many. But one crime still stands out above the rest. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is guilty of the crime of incitement to genocide.

The fact is that Genocides do not occur spontaneously. They do not arise on a whim or after a dictator’s bad day. This ultimate crime against humanity requires extensive preparation and groundwork. And the most important element of this preparation is best described as “incitement” – teaching the general public that a particular group of people are subhuman, evil and deserving of destruction. In order to perpetrate the Holocaust, the Nazis had to first dehumanize and degrade the Jews. The Hutus had to dehumanize the Tutsis. The Serbians had to dehumanize the Bosnians. And so on.

Today, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is dehumanizing the Israelis. He portrays Israelis as monsters responsible for the world’s greatest atrocities. He lays the groundwork for the next Holocaust by accusing Jews of fabricating the last Holocaust, thus fueling the dangerous myth that Jews control not only the media but our very understanding of history. And – most significantly — Ahmadinejad has repeatedly threatened to wipe Israel and its almost six million Jews off the map. By diligently working to acquire nuclear weapons, and by arming its proxies in Hezbollah and Hamas with missiles that can hit every major Israeli city, Ahmadinejad has made it crystal clear that his threats are by no means idle.

The international community has already recognized the special role that incitement plays in the crime of genocide, and it has already taken the important step of outlawing such behavior. In 1948 – a few years after the shocking discovery of the Nazi death camps — the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. To date, 140 nations — including Iran — have ratified this important agreement. The Genocide Convention outlaws not only the commission of genocide, but also “the direct and public incitement to commit genocide.” The Genocide Convention thereby empowers the international community to prevent future genocides by prosecuting the very actions that make genocides possible in the first place.

Tragically, however, those responsible for enforcing this law have lacked the vision and the courage to do so. Yes, international tribunals have prosecuted those guilty of genocide. But they have only done so after the fact, once the killing has ended. What is needed – what we must demand – is the vision and courage to apply these wise provisions before the incitement has yielded its poison fruit.

The International Criminal Court has jurisdiction over violations of the Genocide Convention. And the United Nations Security Council has the power to refer such violations directly to that body. Thus CUFI has been circulating a petition calling upon United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and our UN Ambassador Susan Rice to refer the case of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the International Criminal Court for prosecution of his incitement to genocide. So far, over 110,000 people have signed. Tomorrow we will be releasing an important video promoting this petition – please be on the lookout for it and help us promote it.

Will this petition work? Will we have the pleasure of seeing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as a defendant in the dock of the International Criminal Court? This will be an uphill battle. We must never underestimate the ability of the international community to shrink from strong action and coddle tyrants. But the long odds do not excuse silence. They difficulty of the challenge does not permit passivity. Whether it results in a prosecution or not, we must do everything in our power to call attention to Ahmadinejad’s crimes as he desperately seeks to hide them.

We do this for the sake of the Jewish people. We do this for the sake of America, which has also been threatened with destruction by Ahmadinejad. And we do this for the sake of humanity. The only way to prevent genocide is to stop incitement to genocide. If we can stop Ahmadinejad, we set a precedent that will deter all those who would seek to follow him. If we fail to stop him, we only embolden evil.

For the sake of those who died in the Holocaust he denies,
For the sake of those who would die in the Holocaust he threatens,
For the sake of all who could be victims of future genocides,
Please sign the petition to indict Mahmoud Ahmadinejad today.   And please ask your friends and family to join you.

  1. there have been more people murdered in time of peace, we first will defend truth in a civilized fashion but not without the awarness that those we deal with have no intention of having peace with us. Therefore we must be prepared to fight to protect those who can not fight. We must pray for the return of the Holy One Christ, Jesus who will stand on the Mount of Olives.

  2. I do nt understand what the Istaeli and American leaders are waiting for.

  3. Well, I do not know what the Israeli and the American leaders are waiting. Ahmadinejad has made several threats and they are not empty ones. We cannot be quiet for too long. He has sounded the war trumpet and it is time we acted. Why can’t we frustrate his nuclear ambition. THIS IS WAR AND WE MUST STRIKE FIRST. The sad part of it is that W.U Bush started a good fight but he had no time to finish it.
God bless Bush and God bless United State of America.

Though man seeks to destroy you
    God has an eternal plan
    His supernatural protection
    Will envelope you
    For you are where God
    Will set up his Kingdom
    You need not fear
The threats of the evil man
God almighty is your greatest advocate
Against those who wish you harm
    You are his chosen
    So don’t be alarmed
    No one can destroy
    God’s Holy land
    Not Russia..Not Hamas
    Not even
Yes there will be the great war
    Soon to begin
    God will swallow your enemies
    In the valley of Armageddon
    It’s God’s sacred promise
    That you will be well
    Yes, His Holy promise
    Oh his beloved

  6. Am I Islamophobic to ask this question?
Could Islam be declared not to be a legitimate religion in the U.S.A. and other western nations?
The first fact that has to be recognized is that Islam as portrayed in the Quran and other Islamic laws and traditions takes the absolute stance that a Muslim has to accept everything in the Quran, Sharia law and the traditions or they are considered an apostate.
Secondly Islam has a principle of “kitman” that allows Muslims to lie and deceive unbelievers in order to promote jihad. Imam after so called “moderate” Imam has declared the ultimate goal of Islam according to the Quran is to establish Islam as the ruling religious, political, legal authority and to control every aspect of personal behavior over the face of the earth.
Now for the sake of argument; remove the designation of “religion” from Islam. Now without “religion” attached to Islam judge its entirety in a solely legal sense as to the laws of Western Civilization.
Islam places a death sentence on any of the following actions:
    1. Attempting to get a Muslim to leave Islam. (no freedom of religion) Killing a person for this reason in any non-Muslim country is murder.
    2. Criticizing Islam or their Prophet Mohammed. (no freedom of speech) Killing a person for this reason in any non-Muslim country is murder.
    3. Creating any picture of Mohammed. (no artistic freedom) Killing a person for this reason in any non-Muslim country is murder.
    4. Being a homosexual. (no freedom of choice) Killing a person for this reason in any non-Muslim country is murder.
    5. Adultery… Killing a person for this reason in any non-Muslim country is murder.
    6. Having sex with other men even after a woman’s husband has passed away. (no women’s rights) Killing a person for this reason in any non-Muslim country is murder. Recently a Muslim woman was going to be stoned to death for this but after an international outcry the Muslim authorities decided to hang her instead.
    7. For a woman who refuses to marry the person her father chooses. (no women’s rights) Killing a person for this reason in any non-Muslim country is murder.
    8. Honor killing if a woman embarrasses her family in her dress, associations or perceived lack of modesty. (no women’s rights) Killing a person for this reason in any non-Muslim country is murder.
Non-Muslims living in Muslim countries are subjected to special rules insuring them the status as second class citizens:
    1. They are required to pay a special tax that Muslims are not required to pay. (no equal protection) Human rights violation in all non-Muslim countries. “Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the jizya (poor-due) then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” – Qu’ran, 9:5
    2. In many cases they must dress in a manner that identifies them as non-Muslims. (religious persecution) Human rights violation in all non-Muslim countries.
    3. If their place of worship is destroyed they are not allowed to rebuild it. (religious persecution)
    4. They are not allowed to build any new places of worship. (religious persecution)
    5. If they do not convert and refuse to pay the special tax they can be killed. (Religious persecution) Killing a person for this reason in any non-Muslim country is murder.
    6. Islamic police do not need any legal notice or authority to harass or ransack non-Muslim businesses. (religious persecution) Human rights violation in all non-Muslim countries.
    7. Muslim gangs regularly beat non-Muslims, rape non-Muslim women, ransack non-Muslim businesses and murder non-Muslims with impunity in Muslim controlled countries. (religious persecution) Human rights violation in all non-Muslim countries, including the crimes of rape, assault, vandalism and murder.
    Islam’s ultimate goals:
    1. To replace all other beliefs on earth with Islam. (total destruction of religious freedom) “And fight them until there is no more fitnah (disbelief and polytheism, i.e. worshipping others besides Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah alone (in the whole world). But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah) then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.” (Sura 8.39).
    2. To destroy Israel and kill all the Jews. (promotion of genocide)
    3. To replace western civilization with Islam religiously, politically, legally and in all aspects of daily life. (promotion of sedition) “And fight them until there is no more fitnah (disbelief and polytheism, i.e. worshipping others besides Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah alone (in the whole world). But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah) then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.” (Sura 8.39).
    4. To use Western Civilization’s laws to promote a “stealth jihad” and ultimately conquer from those civilizations from within. (promotion of sedition and treason)
At some point in history, Western Civilization is going to have to confront Islam. The whole ideology of Islam is in direct contrast to the ideals of Western Civilization. It is a totalitarian set of beliefs that are in direct conflict with the concepts of religious freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of association, Democracy, traditional western values and culture.
My question is with all of the above can Islam even be considered a religion in Western culture.
    1. Can a structure of beliefs that calls for the very destruction of Western Civilization be recognized as a valid religion?
    2. Can a set of beliefs that deny any non-believer basic human rights be considered a legitimate religion?
    3. Can a set of beliefs that deny equal rights to women be considered a legitimate religion?
    4. Can a set of beliefs that does not make any distinction between religion, state, legal and every aspect of daily life be considered a legitimate religion?
    5. Can a set of beliefs that allows lies, deception and violence to promote their beliefs be considered a legitimate religion?
My contention is that Islam could be challenged in U.S. Courts and declared a non-religion. If this were done it would remove all religious protections such as non-profit status. It would open their ideology to prosecution for sedition and treason. It would allow prosecution for hate crimes against other religions. It would open the door for prosecution for crimes against humanity and the promotion of genocide. In fact, if the designation of “religion” were removed from Islam, it would place Islam directly in the realm of a tyrannical organized criminal enterprise.
For those who will say that any attempt to declare Islam a non-religion would promote a massive violent reaction in the Muslim world, I have only one answer. Western Civilization if it wishes to survive will have to take a stand sooner or later. The longer we put off the confrontation, the more violent it will be. The alternative is to just allow Islam to meet their goals and establish rule over the entire planet. If Islam acquires nuclear weapons, the threat of retaliation against them for using them will be no deterrent. Islam would accept huge martyred numbers to destroy Israel and Western Civilization.
I would like to emphasize that all the above information is contained in the Quran, Sharia law and Islamic ideology. Remember a Muslim is required to conform to all of Islam or face severe punishment or death.
Are their any legal eagles reading this who can comment on when a set of beliefs moves an ideology away from a legitimate religion and into the realm of an organized criminal enterprise?

  7. Hell

A place where evil gets to raise its ugly head
    Experience thee eternal fire
    Those who have mocked God
    Mock God no more
    Choice the person
    Closed the door to heaven
    Rejected Gods free gift
    They preferred darkness over
    Hell will burn bright
    Not in a good way
    Evil will wear its shirt
    Those who came against God
    Like Ahmadinejad
    Won’t be well

  8. Knowing that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has repeatedly threatened Israel and the United States, why did our government let him into our country? All he’s going to do is address the UN and tell lies.
The pro-Muslim Obama won’t do anything, so I guess it’s up to Israel to do a first strike and end Iran’s nuclear threat.
In this I fully support the IDF (Israli Defense Force)!

  9. Bush destroyed Iraq, Iran’s enemy. So, indirectly, Bush helped Iran. Obama has been trying to clean up the mess that Bush created, but you can’t undo 8 years of Bush in 2 years. Every time a republican is in the White House, he seems to declare a war on someone. The ones that really benefit from War are those making the weapons. Tax payer loses every time.

  10. Well I totally disagree with you Emily. George W. Bush loves Jesus and real men love Jesus and aren’t ashamed to admit it unlike our current President who denies men of God like Franklin Graham on national prayer day but celebrates with the Muslims in the White house on their holy day that of a cult religion..Democrats are systematically ruining our country..Obama has run this country into the ground..and they way he treated PM Netanyahu was sickening..he only appeased him this last time because of the uprise of christians who spoke out against the terrible way he treated our ally Israel..and he’s up for votes soon.
God is the final authority and Israels greatest advocate..The only owner of the Land is Almighty God Jesus Christ and the Israeli’s and Jewish people all others are mocking God..Wake up..before it is too late..Soon Jesus will return and step on the Temple Mount and the earth will shake like never before and Judgement will fall on all..Then every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord..If you have not yet received Christ Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior..Please don’t put it off any longer simply bow your head and say this prayer with all sincerety..Dear Heavenly Father..I know I am a sinner and that you died for the redemption of my sins..I ask your forgiveness today and ask that you come into my heart and be my Lord and savior. I know that you sacrificed your life on the cross..rose on the third day and reign victoriously over all the earth..cleanse me from all unrighteousness and mold and change me that I might be more like you. In Jesus Holy Name..Amen

Otherwise we would now be speaking arabic. That’s if we still had our head on our shoulders.—-What’s next? a speech by i’manutjob in front of a cheering crowd at columbia u.?

  12. Jeremiah 17:5-10: Verse5: Thus saith the LORD GOD:
Cursed is the man who trust in man and make flesh his arm, and whose heart depart from the LORD…..v6…..
Verse 7: Blessed is the man who trust in the LORD and whose hope is in the LORD……v8…..
Verse 9: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Verse 10: I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins even to give every man according to his ways, and thus according to the fruit of his doings
    a) Obama and his team especially clintons will be judged by their fruits, their ways and their heart. The people who will suffer are the americans and his family , his daughter. For God’s people in america – seek righteousness and meekness, and maybe you will hide in the day of the LORD’s anger. (Zep.2:3)

    b) Iran leaders who go against God’ Chosen, will be avenged according to the prophesy where the hands and body of her children melt away in a moment – a nuclear holocaust through their own invention.
For God fearing people around the world. Therefore to him who know to do good and do not, to him it is sin (james 4:17)
For the US/UK/English speaking people who knew GOD through Christ, you are the Israelites who do not know your destiny. Seek ye the kingdom of God and His righteousness, bless and pray for Jerusalem and you will be blessed. Stand beside them(present Israel who are mainly Jews) and push away all principalities, power of the air and the evil rulers of the world, first through LOVE for all people, pray for them and bind the evil one and its demons, then most import of all WORSHIP the LORD GOD for who HE IS. Amen
Iranian’s people who knew the LORD GOD and seek after HIM, get out of her and join hands with Judah (now presently called Israel), lest you too will be destroy.

  13. As a Christian, I am always concerned about Israel and their enemies. But is it necessary to resort to name calling (oily voice)? Mahmoud Ahmadinejad would be the last person I would defend, but again, as a Christian, I am offended when people resort to name calling.
I will pray for this writer, and The Christians United for Israel web site, in hopes that all will understand my concern.

Christians pray for those advancing this move for God’s wisdom, guidance so that in the end Jesus is uplifted

  16. I would agree with the many strong points R. Cook brought into the blog. I would also agree that both Bush presidents done very little in bringing any kind of good quality changes to the U.S.A and any changes President Obama is making has had very little headway. The choice to bring the troops home was made to keep peace here in the U.S.A, the Nations are about to go to war.

Our little brother president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the head of Satan’s synagogue. If you do not believe me just look at the changes the Quran has made to the Holy Bible, how openly they tell lies to bring ignorance to the people. I know how complicated everyone tries to make religion into, and to be honest with you, Islam isn’t a religion; it’s a poor form of Monarchy; a very outdated form. And do I dare say the same about Christianity? No, for the Book of Revelation is a reminder of the Rich form of Monarchy.

Templar Knights being the mighty Right arm of God fought ferociously against the Muslims of their time, but couldn’t suppress them any longer because of their great power. It would seem the more Israel sat in the sidelines twitting their thumbs the worst off this Earth has become. It is time for Big Brother to be the Head once again.

To even begin to think that 911 was a random act and the U.S. Government had no notion of its coming is absurd. Just how blind is the general public to reality, even when it’s plainly put before you, you seem to find a way to slip back into a state of bliss. Each president that comes into power has to play by the electing political party’s rules or suffer the consequences. President Bush The Chief Commander knew exactly what he was doing, everything was just a flex, he had no back bone. And the changes President Obama is making will never be fast enough to correct all the suppose gross negligence of the past presidents. Obama is a powerful man of God, there is healing in his voice.

Little brother president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will stand before the comity and make an ass of himself. He has no power and is wasting his breath. ~Israel~

  17. Brian, reference your comment “Obama is a powerful man of God; there is healing in his voice”: Pope John Paul said Black Liberation Theology comes from Marxist Liberation beliefs in Nicaragua and were not Christian beliefs. Jeremiah Wright preached Black Liberation Theology. In 1987 Obama joined Wright’s church and professed he was a Christian for the first time. One can only become a Christian by asking Jesus into one’s life as Saviour and Lord (John 20:3l). Maranatha! Ruth

  18. Brian, In a 2004 interview with Cathleen Flasani Obama made it clear he did not believe central tenets of Christianity–“I believe there are many paths to the same place.” See John 14:6–Jesus speaking, “I am the way…”When asked, “Who’s Jesus to you?”, Obama replied “historical figure,” “bridge between God and Man,””a wonderful teacher.”See John 1:1-14–Jesus is God in the flesh. Obama does not have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ; he does not know Him. Maranatha! Ruth

  19. Brian, See James 1:5-8–“If any of you lack wisdom…A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” Obama tells different groups different things; a true message should be consistent and reliable. The Bible admonishes us to test the spirits to see that the message is Biblical. We must study the Bible to assure we are not deceived (Matthew 24:24). Maranatha! Ruth

  21. shalom and peace to all. i beleive that maudmoud almadinejad is a physcho maniac. who is exactly like hitler is same thing. we must capture him and lock him up and free iran people from his grip on them. and charge him in court with the crime. and not take any chances and make sure he doesnt get to go back to iran he has to stay in jail here and be punished with the incitement crime charges. but in order to do that we must take him out of president and put sanction on nuclear plant to shut down NOW…. and or else be charged with treason and conspiracy and all this charges on them. this way we will all have succeeded in defending israel. and america and the innocent people on this earth today. we cannot allow them him to go free and same way osama bin laden has to be either captured or killed because he has already killed thousands of people he is too vicious. he must be eliminated once and for all and once these two are down we need to speak out to these terrorist to put the weapons adn surrender or else be charged with crimes on innocent people. and murders they committed. we need to continue to have our committment to defend and help protect innocent people on this planet to preserve lives. and let god help us to do that. to help others that way but israel is a top priority because they are a very important neighbor and like a family to us. in many ways like a brother and sister. america and israel army and military need to work together alongside to defend both people on both sides… this way no one can penetrate into country and do dumb things to innocent people with god’s help we can do it i pray that god helps all of us soon. i pray for israel i love them more than anything in my life……
